Facts and myths about baby walkers

Baby walkers in known as "device that serves to increase the infant's ability to walk and move places from one place to another without assistance and without falling." This tool is used by infants at age 4 to 16 months. Baby Walkers consist of hard plastic frame mounted on wheels and there is a soft cloth that hung across the hole to place the baby. Baby walkers are introduced and patented in early 1851 and its main purpose is to keep a child from a dangerous place and prevent the baby fall when learning to walk. In today's baby walker has undergone many changes in accordance with technological developments and needs. 

The purpose of the use of this tool is for increase the baby walk ability, although some pediatricians do not agree with that opinion because they think walking is a process of adaptation that will accrue in accordance with age children and the doctors also claimed that this is merely a way of producers to increase sales of their products. To support the claim, these doctors have done studies and reviews that show that Baby Walkers did not increase the infant's ability to walk but it makes the baby suffered injuries. Warnings have been issued to parents by the American Academy of Pediatrics and some other organizations about the use of Baby Walkers. 

Although many contraindications to these products, parents still choose to use baby walkers to help their babies learn to walk. Some things to consider when buying a baby walker is; baby walkers should be easy to use and not heavy. Size of baby walkers must also comply with the body baby, do not be too small or otherwise too large because if this happens then it could threaten the health of babies and increase the likelihood of injury. Baby walkers should be attractive but simple because the tool should make babies attracted and if designnya too complicated then it can make a baby in fear. Wheels on the baby walkers have to be really protected and can move freely because if not then it can happen jammed and it will enlarge the possibility of injury. Should choose a baby walker with a diameter larger ring suburb because with such a design which will prevent the infant to approach a dangerous object. 

In this case the role of parents is needed to keep their babies pay attention when using the walker because it still must be remembered that 'walkers have no brakes'. Never leave your baby in a walker to roam the possibility that your baby is running towards something interesting that can cause accidents resulting in injury. Also, do not leave the baby in the walker to roam close to the toilet and kitchen. If you have a swimming pool keep your baby away to a safe distance from the pool. 

After the emergence of various kinds of problems that are owned by baby walkers, has introduced a kind of walker that can assist parents in supervising their babies. Walker has a long string so that it can hold the baby in a safe distance. With this design now parents are more interested and more helpful than the old design.
